2010 May Meeting

Enjoy Japanese natural beauty of
a moss ball !!

Information

Kokedama - a moss ball
They are very popular in Japan, as a charming floral arrangement. The moist green color of moss makes you feel very relaxed. A ball of soil covered with moss is beautiful itself, but becomes more attractive when associated with small plants. It can be combined with any plant, but will have typical Japanese beauty like Bonsai's, if plants which grow naturally in Japan are chosen.

On May 14th, Minami Circle will present you with a nice opportunity to make your original Kokedama Moss Ball at a small cost.
Your instructor will be Ms. Matsumoto, a friendly lady with excellent skills and a great knowledge of plants. With her advice and our preparation, you can enjoy making your own Kokedama. We trust this will be an enjoyable experience for you !!
