2010 January Meeting Noh

Noh Master Sakurama sensei & organaizers

We had a special opportunity at Yokohama Noh theater today.
Usually it is very difficult to get an opportunity to talk such a lot with Sakurama sensei.
Because of your positive attitude at the workshop, he realized how eager we were to
know about the Noh world. In the end, we learnt a lot.

I would like to say thank you for the members who promoted this meeting.
To those of you who couldn't have the chance to attend today I hope you can enjoy this site
which contains information about Noh performances.
In addition we have got the information about one of the very famous English composer
Benjamin Britten.
He composed one of opera which was based on Japanese Noh play "Sumidagawa".

To those of you who joined in on the donation for Saving Haiti, I would like to say thank you
for your cooperation. I could not go through our meeting without doing something for Haiti.
We finally got 29.000yen today. We decided to donate this money to
ICRC( International Committee of the Red Cross)

Under this situation, it would be better to choose a huge organization to make a good result.
I am sure that it was better than doing nothing.
Thank you all and I do hope you will have a nice weekend.

With My Best Wishes Jan.22nd 2010
