I just want to thank all the members of the Minami Circle for patiently listening to my doll-making stories! It was -for me- the ultimate Japanese experience to be in the class as the only non Japanese (Asahi cultural center, Lumine, Yokohama station).
The class members were extremely helpful and nice to me and I learned to be patient because the making of the doll took 9 months. He is my baby boy (otoko-no-ko) and is name is Ichiman because he is an expensive little guy!
Special thanks to Mori san and the kimono sensei Takahashi san. I made the yukata by hand but the hair was done mainly by the senior teacher (awfully complicated) and the junior teacher is an expert in eye lashes and eye brows (you can only do that once: no mistakes possible).
It was a joined venture and the good news is that the boy is finished but the bad news is that he needs a girlfriend and she is already waiting so for the next 9 month there will be more doll stories...
